Star Wars Testbed is built and run by players. If you want to help shape the sim, pick the team that fits you and apply. Every application gets a real human review and a voice interview.
The player-facing team. Community Team members answer support tickets, help players in world, welcome newcomers, and mediate disputes fairly and calmly. If players are having a problem, this team is the one they turn to.
We look for: Patient, level-headed people who enjoy helping others and can stay neutral under pressure.
The narrative team. Storytellers drive the sim wide story, work closely with factions to keep their arcs cohesive, and plan and run live narrative events. They shape the era and make sure every faction has a place in the bigger picture.
We look for: Creative writers and event runners with a strong feel for collaborative storytelling.
The design and development team. Systems Team members create new gameplay systems for the sim, establish and configure in-world facilities and services, and theorycraft creative solutions for systems still on the drawing board.
We look for: Analytical, inventive minds who love game design, balance, and building things players use every day.
